Rob Petitgout

Rob is a co-owner with his wife Melissa. After a successful career in the insurance technology business, he’s excited to share not only his love of wine, but also his knowledge of wine. If you ask him about his favorite wine you’ll get an answer that sounds something like, “A Vacqueyras or Gigondas. Then again, I love Bordeaux and St. Emillion. But you can’t forget about Gamay. There’s also, of course, Sancerre.”

Rob’s at the shop full time and he is the lead on selecting the wines you will find there, as well as at our daily free tastings.

Melissa Venable

Melissa is a co-owner with her husband Rob. While her professional work in online education continues, you’ll find her in the shop on Friday and Saturday afternoons and assisting with tastings and special events. Melissa is also the one behind the scenes of our website and social media accounts.
